In terms of secondary cobalt supply both copper and nickel (oxide and sulphide) will provide more supply when higher prices eventuate. The big copper cobalt deposits are mostly central Africa, nickel cobalt is more globally spread. Likely imo that secondary cobalt supply will cap prices but this should be more a medium term concern. Current nickel price gives little incentive to finance new mines plus they take time to construct and produce.
