By buying more shares in the SPP and on market they have in fact increased the number of shares they hold in AVZ - But because AVZ has created a shipload of new shares Hiayou % of the company has decreased from their initial 11%
What Esh and others are saying is correct !!! they need to lodge a change in substantial holder notice to comply with the listing rules. Personally I still think its odd that AVZ released information on this when they were not obliged to ??? the wording is Ambiguous AVZ would have been better off saying Hiayou has increased the number of shares its owns in AVZ from X to Y
