Hi quamera,
I agree.
To be brutally honest, I have lost a lot of faith in the German car manufacturers since the diesel emissions scandal. Having worked in Germany since 1991, I have witnessed at first hand how they tricked both the authorities and their customers. This unfortunately continues today with the customers continuing to pay the price for the manufacturers failures. Unfortunately the German government and the authorities are fairly powerless to do anything, due the dependence of the German economy on the car industry. Nearly 1 in 5 employees are involved in the automotive sector here. This is very much a “too big to fail” scenario.
With regard to electric vehicles, I believe that this is only a transitional power form. The end game IMHO will be hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles. What appeals to me at the moment is that EDE have a foot in both camps and can develop new products and solutions to meet manufacturers needs, wherever they ultimately lead.
best regards,
mark
