It does offer a return, just not a great one. 30% was the IRR from initial BFS if I am not mistaken.
BFS 2.0 should hopefully bump that up.
Can't disagree with you on the market, clearly AUZ is nose diving to god knows where.
But my gut tells me there is more to the story here - SKI could have committed off-take to so many different Cobalt juniors from around the world but they committed to AUZ, why AUZ and why 100%?
Are Investors willing to bet on nickel and cobalt? Well car manufactures seem to be betting on Cobalt & Nickel if they are signing 7 year term agreements for the supply...
