I can name 10 more if you like, but you are correct, there is no agreement to what the verses' intended meaning was.
This is the reason Baha'u'llah has come. Jesus said He has come to speak parables, but when He returns He will speak in clear language. Baha'u'llah's Revelation has clarified all the disunity into a united understanding which is coherent and rational.
Without Baha'u'llah's Revelation, there is little hope for uniting Jews, Muslim, and Christians. The evidence is in the Baha'i community itself.
