Ash, latham is expected to become a member in the upper house in NSW within a week,he said he will introduce a private members bill to abolish the ban on nuclear in NSW.Again he specifically mentioned nuclear modules not construction of nuclear plants.
To make the introduction more palatable for the australian public he suggested they be introduced in regional areas to power mines etc until voters found the new no carbon form of energy production acceptable.
With the ridiculous emission targets and no action on base load energy by both major parties he said NSW would end up with no major manufacturing, aluminium smelter etc and all the jobs involved.
If latham gets above thru and voters accept the no carbon emission form of energy production he said the roll could continue to provide energy in metro areas.
Now if above happens imo its just another energy opportunity for tls energy ,with no carbon emissions
ps he made the point the old lucas heights nuclear plant is in a built up area ,plus said besides the ban on nuclear power nsw had a ban on uranium mining and had to import their uranium from other states for lucas heights.
