Talking of Vital ET….
As noted recently, POH received no Vital ET revenues from Ashland during 2017 as the global specialty chemicals company worked its way through excess stock. Ashland was said to have had a product relaunch of Vital ET at the end of 2017 (of which I found no media coverage) and POH received $1.05m from supply of Vital ET to Ashland in 2018.
So I was a bit surprised to see that Ashland chose Vital ET as one of the two products it “launched” at Cosmet’Agora, an annual cosmetics formulation trade show, which was held in Paris in January.
The relaunch was featured in various industry magazines (see below) and Ashland has even designed a poster for the product, positioning it as one of its “biofunctional” product range (last link).
The timing of events is certainly a mystery, but if the invisible relaunch of late 2017 led to $1+ m sales in 2018, here’s hoping that the visible relaunch in January 2019 pushes sales even higher.
