You do have a choice with Government.
Some of the political parties allow local branches to drive change from within.
Love them or loath them, in the ALP the LEAN group is a perfect example of the people at the grassroots making policy change happen from the bottom up.
Go and visit the local branch of the party you normally vote for.
Get to know who those people are....join if you like the look of them....tell them all about FBR if your keen, and get local branch motions voted on calling for FBR to be considered in policy.
