Been considering further benefits of ev's and their potential. The bloke who wants to drive all over Fraser with his diesel cruiser spewing crap into the air might like this. How about a trailer on the back for when you go camping? Nothing different to what happens now when you need to take the tent, the fridge, kids bikes and all the gear. The underside of the trailer has a battery pack built in which gets continually trickle charged by the solar panel when parked beside the tent. The battery provides power to the campsite for lighting, fan, fridge, or even a kettle. It also acts as a reserve supply for the ev 4wd if and when it's driver stupidly runs it down to near empty. Then again i'm sure there'll be a few super charging stations on fraser before too long.
