Ash,i suggested new technology energy, that way we don't get caught up in the various types of new technology energy arguments .ie refer finkel report.
Seems to me the obvious is a combination of a couple of hydro dams ,one in vic which has 2 potential locations to provide cheap water and water storage and cheap energy, gas power plants, and yr nuclear modules and solar battery storage the reason being i'm tempted so i don't have to rely on the grid ie with solar/battery storage,i would put a dam in my back yard if i could for water...
There is a big enough choice for tls to choose from, but tls prefers their old diesel investment..
Since GR thru me the bone i googled shell and came up with the following.Again tls can be selective as to which forms of energy production they choose, but a jv with bhp and bhp's massive conventional gas supplies and intention to sell gas outside of their requirements opens up just another opportunity for the giant land turtle.(not forgetting red energy)
So if interested read shells intentions and maybe add or exclude some forms of their energy mix,but note their comments on solar/battery storage. Then add tls's comments re solar battery storage and their competitive advantage,
Renew Economy.14/3/2019 'shell 's big power plans point to rapid shift to electric and scale of disruption'.
Now change the headline ie delete shell and replace with telstra and watch the telstra sp bolt above $4 imo.
plus due to chairmans comments replace him as imo his anti energy retail comments make a material difference to tls's potential..
