If 3DP is useful for national rail networks, imagine how useful it would be for all those underground metro lines around the world? Send in a scanner by rail, upload to 3DP and use AI to report all the tightest tolerances between train and roof/wall/floor, etc. for just US$10,000 pm sounds dirt cheap.
Looks like some US railroader's have started picking up some stock before we take off.
