Partner won't pay to finance and then pay to use the technology IMO. Not how the world works. Why would they pay for something they just paid to develop?
If the latest announcements and patent filings to be believed, they'll likely do a consolidation + cap raise to get the money into commercialization, then sell the tech on a license usage basis to a battery manufacturer.
I haven't bought yet but recent announcements have me leaning towards it.
