My old man who had to go to boarding school etc as a young fella would not let my brothers and I anywhere near a church or private school when we were growing up. If he was still around I'd ask him why. His mother was a religious lady, but I always sensed a hidden contempt of all things religious. Never said much, but that was his style.

I've mixed with plenty of Indigenous and a lot of them were NOT fine. Some, downright loathsome.
