You don't think large holders offload in many small parcels? I do, as I know a big player (non ASN related) and this is exactly how he often offloads. He calls it "feeding the ducks"
Folk like that don't care about saving commission by doing it all in one hit. Easier for them to sell small parcels and easier to find buyers for small parcels rather than spooking the market with a large sell
