Catapult has said before they have lost some of those deals because StatSports price points are much lower than where they are prepared to go. Unlike StatSports, Catapults R&D is self funded - so rational spend and margin is obviously very important.
I know it's one person in Australia they hired for support and sales.
Any CEO will spin you a good story about their business - take it with a grain of salt.
Superior product - i.e. EPL injury stats I have shown you. Vector product seems far more superior - plus suite of video and athlete management add ons. But you are fundamentally right, I haven't seen any independent analysis - because I think it's very hard to conclusively verify which product is better, so it pretty much comes down to price. Then the question comes down to who is more competitive and has a better balance sheet - in this case it's catapult...
