Nothing new Maaze as far as I can tell. The list above is since Jan 2015 but off-field and on-field scandals go much further back. I don't live in a rugby league region and I don't follow the sport. But, I am constantly exposed to it in the mainstream press because of these issues. The only player I can think of that I recognise for sporting reasons is Jonathon Thurstons.
I mean there was the guy who was sticking his finger up the opponents ar*e (lol), the guy urinating in his own mouth, sexual act with a dog, sexual assault, rape, gang rape, drug use, drug abuse, drug dealing, violence, domestic violence, violence against women, public exposure, drunken disorderly, salary cap breaches, performance enhancing drugs, drink driving, adultery, sex tapes, robbery, a home invasion, road rage, and probably others I don't recall.
Its astounding! It seems like every week there is a new scandal and that has been the case since I can remember. Its clear there is a huge problem with culture in rugby league that hasn't been addressed adequately.
