500kt of Hydroxide? That would take 3.25m tonnes of spod at least. Which would take throughput of about 16Mtpa of ore at the front end.
It would also be potential capex of $10bn+
How about they get the 2Mtpa plant for 400ktpa of spod going first before we get too far ahead of ourselves....
