Excellent results. Not sure if the SP will fly or receive a modest bump when comparing the results to expectations. I’m terrible at estimating market reactions which is why I hold long and don’t trade.
FY18 EBITA $68.1m is 17.5% above expectations while EPS 38.6c is 7.5% above expectations.
EBITA guidance for FY19 of $85-$90 which would represent 25%-32% growth and is 11% above expectations.
Yes, I’m another who trimmed ahead of earnings. Always regret it but it’s about managing risk and holding size. I’ve trimmed twice in the case of APX & my remaining holding is free carry representing 9.5% of my portfolio at current prices.
