I've heard that the water situation in Cobar is in dire straights at the moment. Meaning the town supply which is piped in. Does anyone have any idea what artesian supplies are like in the area at Southern Nights / Wagga Tank. I cant remember seeing any mention of encountering groundwater whilst drilling. Maybe they have said so i just cant recall. Coz there will be no mining unless water can be sourced.
Also Cobar being at the end of the grid, power supplies are limited. I suppose from a mining camp perspective that can always be overcome with gen sets.
