I agree with all your comments, if you go back a bit further this was the biggest dog on the ASX.  Emotions were running very high on Hotcopper.  The moderators were earning their money back then dealing with abusive posts. Even I put a few on ignore. It's obvious the ship has finally turned and I have been on STO for a while now (back in the $2's......but mind you my average price is about three times that)

BUT, the so called experts missed their targets by about 20% on the underlying profit. A significant amount these days when we are approaching $1bn dollars underlying profit.  That free cash figure was a surprise to the upside and along with that, the excellent dividend in US$.

From my limited ASX experience, when the experts miss their target to the under side a re-rate usually occurs because of their pleasant surprise.  I'm not saying a 20% re-rate, but I certainly didn't see red coming.  And of course the opposite occurs when their predictions are missed, usually aggressively.  

And, yes, can't agree more, all hail the mighty POO..........!!
