Wow, so the company comes out and says it was an honest mistake yet you still have to throw fuel on the fire. OK I'll bite as I've got some time to spare today. I can see you have pressed the button stating that you're a "holder" of AVL. But, after reading your comments, it made no sense why a holder would say those things so I spent 10 minutes trying to find an answer in a couple of your old posts. Looks like you're a big fan of TMT huh........
I am in touch with a company spokesman and like others who make the effort to understand would know that TMT is spoiled for options . They have very good supporting brokers who could and would easily raise sufficient funds when required. Why---because TMT is fundamentally the best V stock on the ASX and clearly the first amongst their peers. They are streets ahead and are well into their DFS. Don't discount their capacity to bring a strategic partner to the table to assist in funding either.
and then just recently.......
The impending resource upgrade will be some welcome news but the real measuring stick will be the ability to bring to the table binding off take agreements currently being negotiated. Binding off take agreements with a completed DFS mid year ( way ahead of our peers ) will determine the viability of Gabanintha ( not the sp at the time ). Keep an eye on the V price in the coming weeks....because if that resumes its upward trajectory I would expect an off take agreement sooner than later.
Thank goodness we live in a free country. One that I can say I don't believe for ONE MINUTE you own a single share in AVL!! Why bother investing 1c in a company that is so far behind TMT and then go out of your way to continually point it out? You are trying to maximise your investment no?
Non Exec Director of a company to redevelop a s$%#ty uneconomic manganese asset is not a good look
Talking about not a good look, how about your baby across the road that may WELL be under 20c by the end of the month. Many say it would still be at risk of falling much much further! Plenty here have taken a hit recently (unless they took advantage of the free options hehe) but let's just remember what we, at AVL anyway as I'd never want to single out another company (especially on their own board) are thankful for:
I'm thankful that we don't have a large shareholder who has put basically nothing into the company but holds a huge stake and dictates every move our CEO makes. I'm thankful that if we one of "those" he/she would never be gagging to sell every last share he/she owned if they weren't for whatever reason held up in something like escrow lets say. I'm thankful that we didn't rush out an absolute joke of a PFS, one that could still be laughed at in the industry, in hopes that our share price would be high when said shares hypothetically (of course) became "OK" to dump! I'm so thankful that AVL has a resource that will support a suitable investment to actually GO mining once our DFS comes out. You see, AVL is very different from some other companies in that we already know what numbers will be approved for our DFS because of how conservative (and inclusive) management was. Everyone cried about time lines and AVL not exaggerating income and expenses, but hopefully the peanut gallery will be watching come June/July!! The market sure loves when a DFS is very different than the PFS! 99% of the time that occurs because the individuals signing off are suddenly directly in the firing line of funders.
I'm sure you've heard this many times teddie, but size really does matter (of a deposit of course). Sorry, but we're pretty comfortable over here with ours!! However, feel free to continue to subtly support unsubstantiated rumours on this board, and I'll happily write another post about why an investment certain people might be holding IMHO may very well be bought out by us at 5c a share (because at that point we'd have already paid for our plant)! Maybe I'll save you the trip and come over to a board you may frequent more as you seem so eager to engage in discussing hypothetical "negative" rumours about AVL with it's holders over here! Even if AVL decided to reach a deal with Rolek, as they did with Bryah, are you privy to what the terms might be? Could be the greatest deal of all time no?
Oh, and when you next talk to the "company spokesman" you're in touch with over on your home turf, maybe ask which "mates" have now got all these new shares and options. Tell him for me that IMHO you needed a heck of a lot more money than you raised for all the drilling that was promised and a complete DFS (a million a month would he/she agree?). Or will that document also be about 15 pages long?? Should have taken the pain (like you did anyway) and raised $10 million now rather than come crawling back later in the year! We'll certainly see!! I suggest you copy this post and we can both take a look at it in 12 months.
