Whatever pressure shorts were applying seems to have stopped for now .

Only 42,566 of them yesterday which was 2.31% of total volume .
This is very exciting
I have no idea why the graph still says 3.5million are out there.

Tomorrow’s action ....
I guess we are not going to get any pre-interim-results announcements before the said action.

To pass the time, I looked at some peer company’s price performance :
Today Monadelphous released it’s H1 results:

“Feb 19 (Reuters) - Monadelphous Group Ltd (MND) :

• HY REVENUE DOWN 8.38% TO $778.5 MILLION
• HY NET PROFIT FOR PERIOD ATTRIBUTABLE TO MEMBERS DOWN 18.30% TO $30.7 MILLION
• INTERIM DIVIDEND 25 CENTS PER SHARE”

It’s put on 4% today and 35.76% since it’s recent lows .


Comparatively we have put on close to 34% before our results.


Ausdrill hasn’t released it’s results but has been having a string of contract wins
It’s up close to 48%



Emeco released it’s interim results today too.
The market hated it. More than 29% down on the day and a gain of only around 4% from recent lows
“Feb 19 (Reuters) - Emeco Holdings Ltd (EHL) :

• HY NET PROFIT ATTRIBUTABLE $11.9 MILLION VERSUS LOSS OF $0.3 MILLION
• HY REVENUES FROM ORDINARY ACTIVITIES $224.3 MILLION VERSUS $171.1 MILLION

What does it all mean?
I don’t know
I just thought someone else might be interested in the comparisons too and it would be useful for reference down the track .
