I wouldn't discount how significant Laurent joining CLA is for the future of the project.
The fact that he bought on market after knowing the SS numbers - before they added the new upgraded resource - is major.
He's been around minor metals commodities for years and would know exactly how feasible this project is and how he can get it out to his network for some healthy $$$...
Short sighted punters may be scared of the short term price of cobalt but those with a long term view would know anything under 10c is a steal compared to once it runs. Laurent has seen the commodity cycles time and again, he knows its temporary.
Demand isn't going away and even the monopoly that is the DRC won't want to hold down prices forever.
CLA has copped it hard as cobalt is manipulated down but the tide will turn and the SP will tear past 10c when it does. That'll be helped by a healthy resource upgrade....
So there was probably a bit of excitement when the SP started to run recently as there should be some pretty decent Ann's coming out very soon...
