I anticipate that the “significant fundamental” news will be dropping any day now via the 6 diamond drill holes drilled into the standalone Carriere de L’este Pegmatite in the vicinity of 2017 drill hole MO17DD007, which returned a substantial spodumene bearing mineralised intersection of 250m @ 1.48% Li20 913ppm Sn from 1.9m, these 6 drill holes were also reported briefly on by NF during the November 2018 AGM:
AVZ Dec 2018 Qtrly Report extracts:
"Wide spaced drilling at Carriere De L’Este in the northern Manono Sector confirms visible spodumene in drill core with assay results pending."
"Assay results from the drilling at Roche Dure leading up to the end of 2018 will be reported on in early 2019 as will the wide spaced reconnaissance drillholes from Carriere De L’Este."
"At the exciting new Carriere De L’Este Project in the northern Manono Sector, six new diamond drillholes spaced on sections 200 metres apart and a minimum of 100 metres between holes were drilled in the December quarter. The wide spacing of the holes was to determine:
a) the presence of spodumene across the orebody
b) determine if the pegmatite continues to the SSW beneath cover and along strike from the original due diligence hole MODD17001 drilled in July 2017
c) to try and obtain a feel for the orientation of the orebody if possible.
The core from the 6 holes was cut in mid-December and the samples were prepared and sent to Perth for assay. This is a standalone project being geographically located approximately 5.6 kilometres along strike from Roche Dure in the northern Manono Sector.”
If the above 6 diamond drill holes are not reported on by the end of the week, then I suggest shareholders contact AVZ for an explanation as they were drilled in November 2018, mentioned at the AGM and assays for similar dated and prepared drill holes drilled into the Roche Dure Pegmatite (MO18DD071-076) were reported on the 31 January 2019. Some additional exploration notes on the big sister "stand alone" quarry Carriere de L’este Pegmatite which is located ~7.5km along strike to the NE of the Roche Dure Pegmatite for those interested:
Notes for the Carriere de L’este Pegmatite (length ~5.5Km)
To be drilled after the completion/during the Roche Dure drill program and “is evidently as large or larger than the famous Greenbushes Pegmatite in WA where current resources are stated as 240Mt of 2.4% Li2O”, Klaus Eckhof, AVZ Executive Chairman.
Trench 10 to 13, 19 to 23, 25 and 34. Results include 44m @ 1.63% (T12), 16m @ 2.47% (T13) and 6m @ 3.28% Li2O in relatively unweathered pegmatite.
Drill hole MO17DD007, is located ~500m SW of the above T12 and 13 trenches and adjacent to an area of outcropping pegmatite returned a mineralised intersection of 250m @ 1.48% Li20 913ppm Sn from 1.9m. In addition, geometric interpretation of this pegmatite suggests that the true thickness is 280m and reported mineralised intercept was at the time purportedly, “the longest and finest ever reported in the World”, which was superseded many times last year by downhole lithium drill intercepts within the Roche Dure Pegmatite (located ~7.5km along strike to the SW).
Surface rock chip sampling has also confirmed and extended the strike length of the spodumene bearing pegmatite from drill hole MO17DD007 to some 750m in the SW direction. Assay results from surface rock chips ranged between 1.43 to 4.46% Li2O.
Drill hole MO18DD008, the water vertical drill hole that was spodumene bearing is located ~400m NE and along strike of MO17DD007 returned a thick intersection of 71.8m @ 1.25% Li2O 1113ppm Sn from 55m is parallel and dips below the Carriere de L’este Pegmatite. This unnamed pegmatite to date further highlights the extraordinary potential of the Manono pegmatite swarms that have not been discovered/identified to date.
Potn Res based of drillholes 007, 008 & surface rock chips only:
1200m (s) x 250m (w) x 400 (d) x 2.7 (sg, fresh) = 324Mt @ >1.5% Li2O +
Carriere de L’este Pegmatite an additional stand aloneTier 1 World Class and most sought-after asset. Hope that helps some …

“Given the continued support from drill intercepts to date, we have also upgraded our exploration target for the entire project, to be between 1Bt to 1.2Bt of 1.25% to 1.5% Li2O, including between 300 and 400MT of 1.25% to 1.5% Li2O for the Roche Dure pegmatite alone”. … Mr. Klaus Eckhof, AVZ Executive Chairman, 12th September 2017.
