Happy to accept that BP have had some good picks. Doesn't prove they are great analysts. Doesn't prove they're bad analysts either. I could pick 100 stocks and the odds are I'd pick a few winners too if I just focused on stocks in the ASX 200 or 300. I'm more interested in the hit rate of BP's stock picks that met or exceeded their target price? It might be good I don't know. Let's look at some of their BUY recommendation flops from last year that haven't been so great. CYB, WBC, PDL, CGF, JHG, and IRI and I'm sure there's more. So it's all relative. And if memory serves I do recall you questioning BP's rationale behind their $1.36 valuation of PPS back in October last year. At that time PPS had already hit $1.20 and it had crashed back to 85 cents when that target price was issued and it's been going backwards ever since. I do appreciate your input though @Christos12. I assume that you are not an analyst but you obviously know a bit about stocks, certainly more than I do anyway, and even you could see that something wasn't right with BP's analysis on PPS to come up with that sort of valuation. Anyway, as a holder it's disappointing to see where PPS is considering I sold NEA at $1.40 to buy PPS.
