Hazer’s morphology of Carbon is a carbon nano onion, wrapped around an iron ore (impregnated with carbon) via the carbon cycle. For that reason doesn’t lend itself to graphite exfoliation which is the easiest and cheapest method of producing Graphene.

Graphene can be produced from flake graphite as is done by Talga Resources using a many stage process, (expensive to process). Or can be produced by using Sri Lankan vein graphite which starts at 99% pure and is produced in tonnes per year by First Graphene. These examples are both ends of the spectrum, everything in between exists also.

Graphene isn’t produced as sheets by anyone realy, and is mostly produced in a powder form, and added to other products like polymers to achieve added strength, as shown in the industrial bucket liners FGR are producing in conjunction with industry and now with steel blue boots.

Hazer can change their reaction temperature and other conditions and produce Graphene in their reactor, but it’s not exclusively produced with carbon nano onions still occurring, therefore would need to be separated.

I am sure this Graphene concept would be on the long term agenda, but have been told that they are not looking into Graphene until there is a significant market for it.
