You honestly think they wld be trying to sell something which ends up costing more? I dont know the exact figures but theyve said previously that usually the ohm pays for itself within the first year. I dont know the price of each light bulb but for a cut of 85% in energy to produce the same lux wld most likely outweigh the cost of the bulb itself. Hence why 1.8million bulbs have been purchased.
