100% and thats how they used them . Useless for most horses front runners or on pace horses would derive no benefit. Probably used on backmarkers . I was told it isn`t that strong I think two double dee`s from memory. For horses its not much more than a strong snap with the whip . A jockey once told me that L . Dittman`s whip would be far stronger than any jigger. i tended to believe him too.
