Watching the evening news.
There was a fire at 200 Spencer st, Victoria yesterday.
The buildings cladding which did take light during the fire has raised questions in state parliament today.
A member of parliament asked why hadn't the state employed a specialist buildings inspector to identify vulnerable & dangerous cladding?
This is of interest to Triton Minerals but more specifically the graphite sector.
How large a role will our flame retardant expandable graphite play in safety proofing the construction industry moving into the next decade?
Thankfully I'm not aware of any injuries from yesterday's fire & despite the damage to the building hopefully this fire can help serve as another catalyst to boost both our industry but more importantly safety.
