It is interesting in these circumstances that a new BOD is simply imposed on shareholders without any advance notice and without any attempt to get approval. Is it simply a case of a quick whip around the top 20 to see if the new lot is acceptable to them ?

The other question is why would these fearless fellows all line up to take on the responsibilities. It was suggested some days ago (and I have just forgotten who said it .....was it John1985 ?) that anybody who put their hand up to be involved would possibly be of a similar character or mind as those he was replacing. Heaven help us if that is the case.

I would certainly be interested to find out more reliable detail about their past performances and past involvements before we get to "approve" their appointments.
