"How many offices leave heaters and lights on overnight"

I don't know the answer to that but I was recently told that is costs less to run the lights permanently than to switch them off at night and on in the morning. Not sure why that would be but I found it interesting. May also have something to do with security given the odd hours people often work these days in staggered shifts etc.

That said, in the Sydney CBD high rise I presently work they are repeatedly reminding people to switch off lights etc at the end of the day.
