Sell up and move to Malaysia, Thailand , Philippines or other low cost of living country in order to survive the income reduction. I’m past caring.. too busy looking at real estate in Penang and Koh Samui to worry. At least their economy will be happy to see me spend my money there.

You seem to ignore the fact that a dollar saved by not giving it away to you is a dollar the govt does not have to get from someone else's pocket to pay for services and/or pay off the debt.
Their dollar spent in the Aus economy is just as good as yours, if not better!
