a new constitution is being drafted but Syria is not involved in the process. assad im sure knows his time is coming as Syria has been divided already by Russia and company (no us involvement). however his people still support him especially the Christians
everyone else i.e. every other group that is fighting or in opposition to assad, is an interloper which the us formed and started backing long ago.
