DYOR - everything I am saying is in company announcements and marketing videos paid for by 4DS. I am not going to list sources for you...you can find it yourself. 4DS/ IMEC have to date Jan 2019 not announced the successful manufactured of the "chip" in a production like FAB. This Despite JD stating in  November 2017 that proceeding to commercialisation of the chip in partnership with IMEC would not be problematic as "it had all been done before" (his words) i.e. JD was confident at that time (fourteen months ago) that the 4DS manufacturing processes and materials would easily translate to the IMEC Fab and relatively quickly (again his words). New, previously unused materials and process were not a problem and it could be achieved on any production fab the world. Timeline given was 12 to 18 months.  Fourteen months later we have one failed batch (impossible to argue that it was a success other than as a learning exercise), followed by a stated revision of the manufacture process because the first chips were "wooden", new language around iterations (number not defined!) and a narrowing of the types of equipment on which the chip can be manufactured. Absolutely no transparency and very little progress (yes, I know secrecy is attributed to IMEC) . IMHO when/ if 4DS do have a working chip it is highly likely they will need to scale the geometry down to 28nm before a buyer will commit. The industry wants 28nm. Looking at 3 years before commercialisation in my opinion. 4DS has been a play thing for the day traders. Those arching up about my comments are likely Day Traders. Finally, I was invested in 4DS from mid 2016... if you think selling at $0.13 after buying at an average of $0.036 is things not going my way I beg to differ. Furthermore I had way more invested than @patience has ever had.
