The US market is a ticking time bomb.
Below is the Nasdaq 1980-2019.
Note the dotcom bubble in 2000 and the GFC crash in 2008.
I can't see anything encouraging in this chart, sp500 and the Dow show very similar charts.
Thankfully the ASX has been gently declining for some time and won't be hit so hard, but we are not immune.
