So, based on your calculations, AJM will make $209 M profit in 12 months and pay 19 M in interest.
Well, they can even pay off their loan of $125 M and use the rest for expansion and/or dividends. All in the next 12 months????????
Is that correct ???
Hi Kropka. No those numbers don't look right. The profit will be much less than that and of course we have to spread the 19 million dollars over the year. I have just read Roskills report on Tianqi, in which they state their costs were $158 m for their 500 kt share of Talison for FY 2017, so I'm guessing Albemarles would be similar. That makes their costs $300 per ton. Wow! Tianqi's profit must have been around $300 million so no way AJM will make $200m
