Yes, of course transport is important to a bulk commodity play. However, the costs assigned by some are way out IMO. It's also short sighted to think the only destination for this bauxite is China. Current pricing of 50% Al 2% silica is US$69. I'm working on a US$30 AISC to Kribi port. Then add sea freight to destination. Anywhere from US$5 to US$17 depending on destination. They already look like having a 20 year mine life at 10,000,000 tonnes with low capital spend and enormous upside, perhaps orders of magnitude.
So being objective that leaves a lot of margin...and doesn't allow for higher grade or beneficiation, both of which could add serious margin.
All we need now is further clarity from the company and given both the speed with which they have progressed in the past 6 months and the due date on PFS of end of quarter we don't have long to wait.
Let's see where you sit with evaluating the different opinions offered at that point.
