hi stock guru. I have related the whole sordid saga several months ago. I was not able to get copies of the "missing" scrip certificates, instead waiting for the merger. I have a printout with an alliance letterhead with a statement of holdings, sent to me after I paid $55 to Computershare.
Once again, I'm a metallurgist, with no previous experience of shares and stockmarkets
