Banks have been writing blank checks for housing bubble and declaring hugh profits on the interest charges and fees. Problem is what happens when those loans (increasingly) don't perform. Ageing population, record household debt, drought and resources receiving low prices.
A mob like Berkshire Hathaway could swoop in and "rescue" bank balance sheets for a "discount."
