Have heard metastock mentioned before. Have used pro realtime through IG but found it not very user friendly and limited to testing single stocks at a time.

Also use VV but without auto timer, only had it for the trial. Now use it for mixing TA and FA while searching through graphs. Would look to replace however if I find something more effective for current interest. Found the screener a bit restrictive as you mention. Appreciate the offer though! I think I need something along the lines of amibroker but more research to do. Happy to share my progress back too as I think even though you don't code it's probably not as hard as you think. It's all logic really. Well we'll see
