Some pictures of winter work in Alberta Canada, the top picture is at -22c, the fuzzier one is -32c, you can see the ice fog in that one.

There are no frozen/dead bodies laying around, you dress for the weather and work in it

Diesel comes in summer and winter varieties, summer diesel will turn to jelly in the cold,

Personally I've gotten off the plane in Rockhampton in Queensland after Xmas break and it was +43c. I would much rather work in the cold than extreme heat, you can dress warmer, but when its in the 40's above there's bugger all you can do about it.
