Can Purifloh’s Free Radical Generator defeat competition in the air purification space?
Here’s another example of how operators are using product to solve client problems…problems that PO3’s “triple punch” FRG may be able to solve more effectively. And cheaply.
Privately-held, Toronto-based SCA/Surgically Clean Air has developed a system that targets very large spaces in dental/medical clinics, commercial businesses, residential homes and condos.
Its Cascade system incorporates stages that remove particles including odors, gases, mold, allergens and viruses.
In Detroit – not far from PO3/Somnio Global’s 25 acre campus - the University of Detroit Mercy has chosen Cascade.
The university’s School of Dentistry operates in a stand-alone 250,000 sq ft facility.
It has installed four Cascade White (SCA6000C) units in a 3000 sq ft gross anatomy lab to combat formaldehyde odors from 25 cadavers.
On April 15, 2018, PO3/WRG reported results of tests of competing air purification systems conducted by Aerosol Research & Engineering Laboratories, Kansas.
ARE Labs found the commercial Cascade system outperformed Somnio’s Bluemist V1 residential system in terms of contaminant removal effectiveness and time.
One conclusion would be that Somnio has work to do to match the Canadian disruptor.
And it’s accepting the challenge.
It has developed Bluemist V2. In a testament to the ability of Somnio to innovate/improve, V2 would appear to outperform V1 by a ratio of about two to one.
