Alarmed and ?? - also want to understand what the heck is happening, I understand things are in a state of flux .

Axiom has SJ mining licence - employed highly qualified professionals & local people and is underway - in process towards mining start up .
I read extensively into Christmas- Vale is investing $100 million ? ( or a very large amount anyway ) into retrieving capability of their New Caledonia Mines - which surely must be far less economic than Isabel ?
Vale are the original explorers and tenement holders of SJ and Kolosori .
After the MMB met , from the Wednesday , in the last week of November as expected .
The SI attorney general finished his time end of this same week. ( he resigned some months ago -intends to stand for office I think in upcoming elections)
The attorney general - was legal advisor to and a sitting member of the MMB - did his tenure with the MMB , also end that Friday ?? ( last Friday in November?)
*And why did the MMB meet further - Ok the Monday after seems reasonable as no doubt a lot to consider .. and not meeting for some months again?
However- why did MMB and all of these MMB committee members from all over the SI - meet again ?? last week ?? why ?
And was the AG gone from the MMB then ?
(Is the AG no longer a member and legal advisor to the Mines and minerals committee?)
Plus the MMB changed chairman when December rolled in ? So from the main MMB regular meeting over end of November— until MMB met .. extra days and times .. even into suddenly an extra day last week- the MMB now has a new chairman, as standard rotation of terms of office .
That very quiet week , into December- while we waited for news from the MMB & Mines ministry to be handed down, if was news -of what we hoped would be PLs as axiom legally entitled to , if possible resultant from MMB meet -how could there be such a significant crazy change - around .
*To me the SI has got to get real— and be reliable ?!
The Chinese company, new part LOI ( plus this is insane— piecemeal carve up again at beyond eleventh hour ! of Kolosori, and Isabel - and the Chinese company , has nil mining background ??
Landowners - a subset - paid ?? - a rumour - ? Money ? A significant and substantial?? amount of money ? In USD ? - from said Chinese company , who now given a new LOI over a subset Kolosori ?
What the ? ( in such a small area - a number of different companies + a revised Go it alone principle entity of LOs ?
Mining is no easy thing.
This is not a game - we’ve all had significant monies in. And it has taken so long .
So unfair .

I am sure axiom must have a strong case - but I sure am upset the way the year ended , and such a huge curve-ball.. again.

I still like to believe- that the true local people at heart - can see, and wish to get going .

The company representatives have only ever spoken with , I have thoroughly understood to be working hard and focused on Axiom patiently working towards mining .
Company has worked so hard with the local people , I believe this .
SI is an untrustworthy jurisdiction at present - due to greed , and the self- centred activities and behaviours of people who’ve taken advantage .
Surely no other company can quickly or easily move towards SAAs and drilling / resource definition though? Axiom are years and years ahead . They want to steal all Axioms work and methods of care now ?
Axiom are entrenched in San Jorge , and not forgetting West Guadalcanal even - plus had done full JORC over Kolosori , and likely well on the way towards with San Jorge .
They seem to have immediately moved into process to retrieve this situation .
* But now the Govt is in standdown - and weather officially into wet season .
I think the SI - MUST stand on its feet !
Life isn’t easy for any of us . The country is undeveloped and has lacked cohesion and vision forever .
I think the economy is too small ? - to ever completely stand on its own .
I wish they’d prove to be more grateful for how much patience and understanding and huge support has been extended to them .

As to the people they have their rights - but this is terrible that they blame axiom for delays and years of costs - when have been through a significant period of Govt corruption with Mines ministry and all that occured - 2013- 2017 .
Plus the SMM HC challenges etc.
I think - hope - that the next Solomon Islands parliament will be better . The SI definitely cannot continue like this !
I’ve read - the retiring government is claiming as it’s achievements -
-the undersea internet cable and ,
-the to be Hydroelectric scheme , and
-the anti- corruption laws passed through parliament literally on its closing day about !
Most of this - as well as their law and order- as well as even there were ADF casualties of ours during their time of unrest— Australia and Australians have given and supported them with these ‘only ‘ achievements of the now retired government.
Phone the company I think . Very unfair .
