Thanks Gindaldan. Obviously, there is something I am missing. BHP bought back 509 shares from me.
My purchase price was $31.06. I have received $14068.76 (capital payment $193.42, divi
$13875.34). My SMSF is in pension , therefore zero tax. So, they bought shares from me for final
price of $27.64. , but I purchased them for $31.06x509=$15809.54, therefore I got back less than
what I paid for. Very confused atm.
