When Amazon IPO'd the SP was $20 . .they dropped to some crazy number from that until they then rebounded and took off. If you put $100 in amazon 20 years ago it would be worth about $120k (they have split a few times too)

All that time where would have been people like us buying in as they went lower saying "this internet thing seems to be the next big thing, i know this is risky but i beleive in what they are doing . ." and there was other people saying "nah, they suck, what a dog, it's going backwards".
