Export prices aren't rising, much........., page-38

I decided toagain publish AUS favorite chart one he loves to use to prove prices are goingup see his first post in this thread.

First many havesaid that China would be cutting back production and exports.  

The text says “In November 2018, China exported 4610.4tons of rare earths , an increase of 1510.3 tons from the previous month, an increase of 48.7% from the previous month and an increase of 12.4% from the same period of last year.”   

Now this goes against whatI have been saying about lower demand causing price declines.   China  is shipping more.   Trouble is we have no indication of mix.

 

Average price is alsodown.

“In terms of averageexport prices , the average export price of China's rare earths in November 2018 was US$9738.9/ton , a decrease of US$ 2583.3/ton from the previous month, a decrease of 21% from the previous month and an increase of 3.02% from the same period of last year. From January to November, the average export price of China's rare earths was US$9911/ Tons, an increase of 20.7%.”

Again mix makes it hard todraw firm conclusion.

Possible they are shippinga lot more La and CE and less Nd and PR and less heavies. We all have to drawour own conclusions.    Maybe listen to a few AL CCs about what Lynas is shipping to China.
