Mop Head's CV is indicative of a very manipulative mind with few ethical concerns.
This is from memory
He was a reporter for The Times way back in time in Brussels and used to post - often concocted or exaggerated - stories about the goings on in Brussels. At one stage he made such outrageous false claims an American who was also posted there (I do not remember in what capacity) notified 'The Times' that mop head's stories are false. It was checked and he lost his job - he continued to smear Brussels' reputation wherever he could after that but decided to make his way in British politics. Seems to be paying off for him. Watch out British public.
There is likely to be a lot wrong with a mostly bureaucratic institution (whose members seem to be an older generation of politicians who have nowhere else to go. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but some youthful vim would be a good thing to stop them from some of their more mind-numbing regulations they issue and everyone is up-in-arms about, not just the Brits.
Wolly-head knows what he wants.
