Drillers are not geologists . They may have a geo on site but he'll tell them nothing and even the geo doesn't know if there's disseminated gold in the core until the assay results.

Your being a bit unfair here to poor old mike and crew, they do all this for peanuts, have you had a look at the wage bills? Mogga reckons CFMEU workers would earn more than these guys and he's right, they would earn silly amounts. I have a mate who works at the wharfs and i think he's in the MUA and he earns more than Nag's entire wage and admin bill.
These guys are having a go, running an ASX listed company with no income trying to find and create wealth for Victoria and Australia and then to compare like with like and when one looks at other listed explorers you'll see that their running costs, wages and admin are some of the lowest in the whole country, it's just wrong to suggest they are raping the company and share holders for wages, holidays, plane trips, expensive dinners etc like most spongeing directors do, these guys manage the money well, you try and get a union worker to work for $55k a year lol, you've got no hope they would be crying there eyes out. You also have to consider this is an exploration company and if investors never took any risk they wouldn't be able to find any deposits and there would be no mining jobs in Oz, nothing in life is a certainty but we need explorers to explore as this creates wealth for the country and Nag's conservation of other peoples money (and some of his own) is good thing.
Drillers know whats going on mate, don't you worry about that, there be many times i've seen drillers leading the market, i'm not saying they've been buying here but drillers arn't as silly as you think imo.
