Trump has his faults (misogyny, lack of diplomacy, etc), but two things he has in spades is love of country and balls.  As a human he leaves a bit to be desired, but as a President, he is proving to put country first through his trade policies, and review / repeal of things that make no sense (business or political) for the United States.  

The people of EU are starting to wake up and realise their leaders have led them down bad paths with regards to globalism / socialism.  It’s always been a great theory, it just hasn’t ever worked in practice.

The main consideration I see for Australia is the difference in size.  I would love for our politicians to talk a more firm stance, but we are so reliant on China and other Asian nations for economic viability, it would be a bad day if we pissed them off.

At this stage, we’ve sold off ports, real-estate and some of the best farmland in the world to foreign investors.  I genuinely fear for this country should China decide it wants to expand and annex AU.  They own half of it and outnumber us by about 1billion to 25million.

Not sure what can be done about it now, and acknowledge this is an off-topic rant, but there ya have it.  Moderate at will. ;-)
