The purpose of this debate is analyse a case for Australia to have a nuclear power industry like most other countries rich and poor.
ATM to much effort is going into subsidising renewables which will only scratch the surface of domestic and industrial power needs and will never be able to deliver more than about 20% needed capacity.
Given that coal and gas supply the bulk of Australias power needs, there is a good case for nuclear energy to step in and eliminate fossil fuel emissions.
Nuclear power = no emissions. End of argument.
